Tuesday

We had a relaxing day, lying around the room (Willow napping).  She is not used to men (they say most caregivers are women, so the children may not be used to men.)  Jeff & Willow are bonding over hall walks and snacks.

One view from our window.  We like the building with the round spaceship on top.  The lights are pretty at night.

At 2, we all met in the lobby with our guide, Vickie.  We dropped off lots of dirty laundry for her friend to do cheaply, and all the girls ran around having a good time.

Willow is a good walker and stair climber.  Ariel will be a good role model, with her agility and gymnastics moves.

Selfie on the bus.  We drove to a mountain nature area to visit monkeys and a temple.  Vickie warned us not to look the monkeys in the eyes, not to feed them, not to carry any food on us..... we all laughed.  The local people were all feeding and petting the cute monkeys, but we didn't.

Ariel fell asleep, but later woke up to dance around and play in bubbles.  Willow did some serious stair climbing.

This lady was selling peanuts to feed the monkeys, and she had a stick to fend them off!  Our bus driver just pulled over along the road where lots of monkeys were hanging out.

At the temple.  Willow showed her skills riding Jeff's shoulders.  Vickie walked us around the Buddhist Temple, telling us about customs there.  We saw turtles and goldfish.  A fun Chinese lady took our photo.
