 A day at the Smithsonians.  We watched IMAX movies about butterflies (the journey of monarchs) and waves in Tahiti.  We went inside a butterfly pavilion, then cooled off in subterranean Asian art galleries (Freer, Sackler, and African art gallery).  We rode the carousel 4 times!

Luray vacation

 Last month we took a short vacation in Luray, Virginia.  We toured Luray Caverns and Skyline Caverns.

Watch out for vampires!

 It's cicada time.  I think they've gone now.  Lots of cute ones at Skyline Caverns.

 Ariel slept through most of Skyline Caverns, but was calm when she woke up in a cave.
