We had a 3-day weekend, and got a good last-minute hotel deal at
Tokyo Disney. It's about two hours away by train. The resort has two parks: Disneyland and
Disneysea. We chose Disneysea. It's not a waterpark, but has a nautical theme. Our favorite part is
Mermaid Lagoon:
This is the top of Triton's Kingdom, an "underwater" cave with Jumpin' Jellyfish, Blowfish Balloon Race, Ariel's Playground, a Little Mermaid live show, etc.
