The TA is issued by China, and is an official-looking document with Hao Yu's photo and a red stamp. Our agency has had it for a while, but could only give it to us when the in-China itinerary was finalized. I picked it up in person. America World Adoption's headquarters are in this building in McLean, Virginia. They have a very nice office space with soothing colors, couches, and furniture. We always love going there and seeing all the people who work so hard for the children and families.
Last time, when we lived in Japan, Ariel's TA would not arrive quickly enough, so our travel-mates, Heather & Ritch Diener hand-carried it to us in Beijing.
