Day 2 in Hakone - Ariel was ready for a big nap in the car, so we drove to Fuji-Five-Lakes area. Driving around the base of Mt. Fuji is surprisingly flat. It has a fun, spacious, touristy feel, and is a lot like lake resort areas in the USA.

On the swan boat cruise around Lake Yamanaka. We took it on a whim, and got a great view of Mt. Fuji!
It looks so different in summer, when it's not snow-capped.
This is the same area I took Ralph last summer for our mother-son vacation.
