We saw the Christmas lights at the National Zoo. The next morning (we stayed in a hotel downtown), Jeff went running and took these photos. White House above.

Howie and I met at the New York City Youth Hostel (Hostelling International on Amsterdam Avenue) in 1992 and have kept in touch ever since. They live in Christchurch, New Zealand. They were visiting New York, Washington, and cousins in Chicago. |
