Gina, my favorite hair cutter in Japan. She works at the Yokota beauty shop. She also sings R&B with a band in downtown Tokyo.
Ariel checking out her new preschool. It's in a lady's house at Yokota, inspired by our friend Barbara's "Dream Academy". Barbara and family are now in Alaska with a new set of triplet boys. We miss them!
Sarah, the preschool teacher. Ariel's class will be 2 mornings a week, with a maximum of 6 kids.
Ariel was most interested in Sarah's fish, Sushi-chan.
At Kids' Club at the Enlisted Club with Anna and Noah. Kids' Club is a big, crazy, loud dinner every Wednesday. Ariel loves it, especially the balloons, and sitting with random people, especially older girls.
Noah and Ariel look a lot alike these days, with super-cute noses, and hair that grows straight down over their faces, because they both have the double swirl in their hair. The double swirl is called "tsumuji" in Japan. Noah's parents, Anna & Lance, are from Hawaii. Lance works with Jeff.
