More and more people are leaving Yokota on the voluntary evacuation. The food, air, and water there are still free of radiation. I have several friends who are choosing to stay, and I keep up with them on Facebook. I will be sad to miss cherry blossom season this year in Japan. Nobody celebrates it like they do. I had planned to see my Japanese friends in Chiba during that time.
